A week before Lollapalooza Brasil takes place – March 23rd to 25th in Sau Paulo – the organizers of Lollapalooza Chicago released their lineup for the late summer festival. Hundreds of thousands of music fans will gather at the water fountain filled Grant Park this August 2nd to August 5th for Lollapalooza Chicago’s 14th showcase.
Headliners this year include but are not limited to, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, and Travis Scott. Some other rising names include Tyler the Creator, St. Vincent, and Tycho.
Bruno Mars has evolved from a prolific behind the scenes songwriter to one of pop music’s biggest icons. His blends of James Brown’s bravado and Michael Jackson’s talent have led him to becoming a household name. Extremely accessible music that is enjoyable to listen to – it doesn’t come around very often.
Fresh off signing an estimated $72 million dollar touring advance with Live Nation back in 2017, The Weeknd is ready to take the stage. The Weeknd began his career in Canada and attracted the attention of fellow Toronto native, Drake. The rest was history.
