Founded in 2000, Movement is more than a festival—it’s a pilgrimage for electronic music fans. Held annually in the birthplace of techno, the event has become one of the most respected and longest-running festivals in the world, drawing fans and artists from across the globe to Detroit’s riverfront.
2025 Lineup Highlights
This year’s lineup is stacked with legends, innovators, and fresh talent across six meticulously curated stages. Headliners include:
- Justice (DJ set) – the iconic French duo return with a set sure to shake the plaza
- Fatboy Slim – the UK dance music veteran brings his signature energy to Detroit
- Charlotte de Witte – one of techno’s biggest names makes her Movement debut
- Honey Dijon, Richie Hawtin, Skrillex, Bonobo (DJ set), Robert Hood, and Underground Resistance round out a roster that bridges the past, present, and future of electronic music
Also on the bill are must-see sets from hometown heroes like DJ Minx, Stacey Pullen, and Carl Craig, alongside rising artists such as VTSS, Amémé, and UNIIQU3.
