Another indie festival is coming to Columbus this weekend! The Flyover Fest takes place Thursday May 11 through Saturday May 13. It takes place mostly in the south Clintonville area and on campus at The Ohio State University.

The festival is sponsored by a variety of Columbus-based organizations and businesses: Jeni’s Ice Cream, Two Dollar Radio, Dispatch Media Group, and the Ohio State Wexner Center for the Arts are all examples. On their website, The Flyover Fest claims the festivities will also include “internationally acclaimed artists, often from the Midwest,” (theflyoverfest.com). The Flyover Fest definitely prioritizes keeping it local by including Columbus and Midwest-based artists and entertainers in their lineup.

This three-day festival consists of “literature, music, film, panels, and a bookfair,” according to their Twitter bio (@The FlyoverFest). The bookfair is scheduled for May 13, and films and panels on various subjects are scheduled for all three days. You can view the complete schedule for The Flyover Fest here.

All-access passes for the entire Flyover Fest will only run you $25, but some of their events (such as Jeni’s Splendid Indie Book & Music Fair on Saturday) are free to the public. Check out The Flyover Fest in Columbus now!
